Hi again,
I'll try and answer a few quesions that have been raisd. Firstly, the issue of Crime. Like most northren cities Hull has is far share of social problems. however, he areas you will tend to go tend not to mirror those of the rest of the city. Although, i could not say a 100% you will not a victim of crime, i'm sure you will be quite safe. Myself or my friends have a been safe up ontill now (touch wood). You are right in thinking hull uni is friendly, it is also safe as any other uni that is in a city.
Secondly, Frenes Hall is quite good, as its in the lawns complex. however, better to be safe than sorry, pick a regular lawns hall. i can recommend Downs.
Thirdly, the Law Dept. is a very well repected dept. In fact, in a survey of City law firms Hull law school is a top 20 dept. Its hard work geting a law degree, but worth while, as it is a very marketable degree!!! Also they have a good social club!!!
Have a freshers week!!!!!!!!!
