Having stayed in Churchill Hall for 7 days I thought I would give my opinions, and hope they are of some help.
From what I could gather, the size of room you are allocated is a lottery, I had a typically small, desk, bed and wardrobe, 'prison style' university room. However people who I met on the summer camp [of the same sex] were allocated much larger rooms, for no apparent reason, they were just allocated a different block.
Wash facilities were excellent, one well kept bathroom betweem two single rooms. Much better than my Oxford college. I must say that the queue of a morning could be compared to that of one of Hoovers soup kitchens.
The common room was large but there were limited study areas, slightly off putting if you are allocated a room the size of your future coffin.
The food, I must say was about average, no major complaints, not exactly something to really look forward to though.
